Getting Started & Drawing
- How do I start drawing? Simply select a drawing tool (like a brush or pencil) from the options available and start drawing directly on the canvas with your mouse or finger (if on a touch device).
- What are the different drawing tools? We currently offer a selection of basic drawing tools, such as different brush sizes and colors. Keep an eye out for more tools in the future!
- How do I change the color? Look for the color palette or selector. Click on your desired color to start drawing with it.
- How do I change the brush size? You should find options to adjust the thickness or size of your brush. Experiment to find the size you need!
- Is there an undo/redo function? Not yet, but we are exploring the possibility of adding this feature in the future. For now, you can use the eraser tool to correct mistakes.
- How do I erase? Select the eraser tool from the available options and use it to remove parts of the drawing.
- Can I clear the entire canvas? Currently, there isn't a public "clear all" function. We are considering how to best implement this in a collaborative environment.
Collaboration
- How many people can draw at the same time? Our canvas is designed for multiple people to draw together simultaneously.
- Can I see who else is drawing? You'll likely see other cursors or marks appearing on the canvas as others contribute.
- What happens if someone draws over my work? This is a public, collaborative space, so drawings can overlap. We encourage users to work together and be mindful of each other's creations.
- How can we work together effectively? Try communicating through your drawings! You can also agree on a theme or area of the canvas to work on together.
Saving & Sharing
- Can I save the drawing? Yes! Look for a "Save" or "Download" button on the page.
- How do I save the drawing? Click the "Save" or "Download" button. The current state of the canvas will be saved to your device.
- In what format are the drawings saved? Drawings are typically saved as a standard image file, such as a PNG or JPG.
- Can I share my drawing with others? Absolutely! Once you've saved the image, you can share it through your favorite social media platforms, messaging apps, or however you like.
Privacy & Moderation
- Is my drawing public? Yes, anything drawn on this canvas is publicly visible to everyone visiting the site.
- Is there any moderation of the content? We are currently exploring the best ways to moderate content in a public, no-account environment. We encourage users to be respectful and considerate of others.
- What happens if someone draws inappropriate content? We rely on our community to help us maintain a positive environment. If you see something inappropriate, please let us know through the contact information provided (if you have one) or by being mindful of what you contribute yourself.
Technical & General
- What browsers are supported? We aim to support the latest versions of popular web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
- Is it compatible with tablets or mobile devices? Yes, you should be able to draw on the canvas using most modern tablets and mobile devices with touchscreens.
- What if I experience lag or technical issues? Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If you continue to experience issues, please try refreshing the page. We are continuously working on improving performance.
- Why don't I need an account to use this? We wanted to make it as easy and quick as possible for anyone to jump in and start creating collaboratively!
- Are there any limitations to using the canvas? Currently, the canvas size is fixed. We are looking into ways to potentially expand or offer different canvas sizes in the future.
